The regional city of Albury is located in New South Wales, and straddles the Murray River. Situated 554 kilometres away from Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales, Albury has a twin city on the other side of the Murray River and the New South Wales-Victorian border, known as Wodonga.

Albury is rich in history, traditionally having served as a principal transport link between Victoria and New South Wales. Today, there are a number of heritage-listed structures and landmarks to be observed in the city, many hailing from the 19th century. These include the Court House, the Town Hall, the Headmaster�s Cottage, the Railway Station, Burrows House, the Post Office and Albury Public School.

One of the main attractions in Albury is the spectacular Botanic Gardens. Having stood for more than 130 years in the city, the Albury Botanic Gardens hold a fascinating history in addition to a world of phenomenal flora. Featuring twisting paths and curved shrub beds, the gardens have been awarded several prizes in a range of categories.

The Botanic Gardens now contain a delightful Children�s Garden, which is equally enchanting for those who are still young at heart. The trails of the play space offer children much more chance for exploration and discovery than the average playground, and the aesthetics of the garden will leave even the most hard-to-impress children in awe. A life-sized dinosaur, a troll cave, a fairy temple, wetlands and creeks, living cubbies and interactive speaking tubes are just some of the magical things children will find in the garden.

Another attraction in Albury which is appreciated by children in particular is the Albury Swim Centre. Hosting three pools, the Swim Centre is one of the most popular locations in town when it�s time to get away from the unforgiving summer heat. Within the Centre is an outdoor pool which spans for 50 metres, a smaller pool of the same style and a toddler pool which is covered with shade sails. A giant waterslide is also connected to one of the pools, which children never fail to line up for.

The Centre features plenty of grassy space which is perfect for picnicking. The grounds are also equipped with barbeque facilities, along with a kiosk serving up delicious poolside snack food, treats and coffee.

Check with the hospital before sending flowers to ensure they can be delivered. Many patients recovering from surgery, seriously ill or in ICU cannot receive flowers and gifts. Alternatively, we can arrange for delivery to the recipients home when they are discharged from hospital.

We can deliver to most hospitals in and around Albury. We will endeavour to have your hospital flowers delivered but some hospitals have strict policies about flower and gift basket deliveries. Check with the hospital before sending flowers to ensure they can be delivered. Many patients recovering from surgery, seriously ill or in ICU cannot receive flowers and gifts. Alternatively, we can arrange for delivery to the recipients home when they are discharged from hospital.
